Just a little vent....

As I sit here cleaning the apt on a gorgeous day (because this is one of the few days from now until next year I can revamp) DH is busy yelling at the TV because of football and baseball. I forget that now I will have to find things to do every Sunday & Monday until the end of the season.

Then last night I went out because I couldn't take being in the house anymore, and my friend says to me 'shouldn't you be home with your hubby doing 'wifely' duties or something?' WTH!!! What the second I got married I'm supposed to be staying home barefoot & pregnant in the kitchen or something??? DH and I have an agreement, we don't hold each other back, if he wants to go out with his friends he can and if I want to go out I can. That's what trust is all about. Ugh!!!

Ok vent over.

mine is kneeling in front of the tv and yellilng at it. its sooooooooooooo annoying.

Mine isn't here. He is at his parents house and is heading out from there. He just got back from his bachelor party and I haven't seen him since Thurs but, I'm welcome to come to his parents house and hang out with his mom's extended family (who he is planning on escaping the second the Giants game is over - and by now, it might even be!) Um, why do I want to go and hang out with your mother's cousins that you don't want to hang out with... He told me like 10 times on the phone that I could stop by (I just got back from seeing a friend in PA).

'Wifely duties' what exactly does THAT mean??!!???

Hey Janna, when you went out you didn't happen to step into the 1950's did you?? That's the only way I could justify that comment!!!!!!

Just tell them you'll go do your 'wifely' duties when you're done having fun!

People are so stupid sometimes. I honestly think that sometimes people just speak for the sake of hearing themselves... 'wifely duties?'
