This question has been asked many times before but since there are alot of newbies I decided to ask it again. Will children who aren't in your BP be invited to your wedding?
LIW Lady veterans-For others has your stance changed about the subject due to objections from friends/families?

Re: Just a question
Yes. FM whole family is in Miami - so his nieces and nephews will be invited. All in all we are inviting 9 kids

Re: Just a question
yes the nieces and nephews will all be invited. FH is one of 9 children so most of his siblings have children and we both don't want the children that are not in the wedding to feel left out. The older ones especially...as far as the smaller children they will be invited and it is up to the parents if they want to bring them or not

Re: Just a question
No...no kids...haven't changed my mind either! I am not a 'kid' person...don't want children of my own, and don't want any, besides my niece & nephews & future nephews there (but they are all in the BP)
Since all of FH's family is from out of town we are providing babysitting...because it would be hard for many of them come & leave their kids behind..although i do argue they've had over a year's notice...but i guess it's the least we can do to keep the peace..haha
At FH's cousin's wedding his family was in an uproar about the 'adult only' reception and turned to me & said 'when you & Blaine get married just make it easy & invite the kids'.(this was before we were even engaged)...I defended that poor bride like there was no tomorrow!!!
Stick to your guns ladies if you don't want kids at your wedding! I love my dogs but don't expect them to be welcomed at every event I am ever invited to!! Not everyone is a dog person & some of us aren't 'kid' people...haha

Re: Just a question
no kids (unless they are in the bridal party)
there would be about 10 kids under the age of 5 if we did this.

Re: Just a question
No kids no way. I have 7 neices and nephews under the age of 7. I am not having them in the wedding ceremony or at the hall. They can come to the church if they must but that is it.
I have gotten hell from one of my 6 sisters about this and have unwaveringly said, NO.
Dont get me wrong I love them but they are in no way invited to my wedding.

Re: Just a question
Absolutely not. we're only inviting the four kids in our BP (+ teh ring boys' baby sis) so 5 altogether. I was going to invite some of my cousins kids (all teenagers) but the numbers were getting too high so they got cut.

Re: Just a question
Nope, the only kids will be the ones on the BP, had said this in the beginning and am sticking to it. We have had some ppl out right say that if their kids can't come then they wont come and to that I said too bad! Sorry it's just too expensive to invite these kids (there are a lot) who we have not even met and who wont even eat anything that night.

Re: Just a question
we are inviting FH's first cousins, the kids of his other first cousins, and my first cousins kids
and of course our nieces and nephews
the only reason i feel confident in doing this is bc they have invited the kids to all of the weddings I have attended for FH - and none of them ever brought the kids!
i know that may change for my wedding- but it doesnt bother me i probably won't make my minimum anyway!!
I really wanted MY cousins there so i couldnt really ban HIS cousins ( even though i have like 4 kids in my family and he has like 20!)
