As some of you know, we're 'officially' kicking off our hall search tomorrow.
I have a list of q's I want to ask the BM, and double-spaced, it comes out to 4 PAGES!!!
Am I out of my mind?!?!
lol - I know you ladies will be honest w/ me.

Nope!! If you are paying an arm and a leg I think you are at liberty to have four pages worth of questions!! Make them work for their money girl!!

Re: Just a quick question
I don't think you are out of your mind at all!!! You have questions & that is a good thing...When you are spending the amount of money we spend on weddings, I think we are entitled to ask as much as we want without the banquet managers getting mad!!!
Just make sure none of your questions repeat themselves!

You're not out of your mind - I think you'll find that some of those questions will be answered while you look around and in some cases, if you walk in and you're not feeling the place, you may not be asking them anyway.

Re: Just a quick question
In all honesty, I had almost the same thing, but most of them already answered half of the questions when they went through their packet. The only questions that I really needed to ask were specific personal ones, like if they offer a certain meal if I had a family member who was a diabetic or a vegan etc etc.
You're not being silly, you'll be spending a lot of money on the hall, you have every right to ask questions! And whatever they promise you, make sure they write it down and that it gets put into your contract.
Good luck and have fun!

Re: Just a quick question
thanks ladies. I know i'm going to be nervous - I always do, when it's something i've never done before! After 3 or 4 halls, we'll be old pros, I'm sure.

Re: Just a quick question
i know you're nervous, but james puts you right at ease and no question is too big or too small - any hall should answer any question you should have

Re: Just a quick question
You're fine, Nic!!! Don't worry, hopefully you won't have to actually ask many. Most of the halls I went to answered my questions in their lil speech. Then when they were finished I only had a few left to address with them. Lol, I actually spent a lot of time writing everything down but that's the best way to do it!!!
