Just a very important FYI for those who still need to book RH!!!

Hi girls:

I just have to give your girls a tip from an 08 bride regarding your RH. I see soooo many posts in 08 of girls who are not making their minimum guarantee. Granted I know that some places require a minimum guarantee to hold a certain room and that is one story BUT for those who dont aim low!!

You are responsible to pay for those you guarantee.
We guaranteed 125 and knew we were inviting 150-160. so if we have 30 people who dont come we make our minimum. Hopefully if you dont make your minimum you can add your vendors in to try and make up the difference and even still, if you still dont make it they will give you extras.

More or less be careful when you give a min guarantee!!! Always aim less when you can!!!!

nod, I am worried about this. We already booked, but we have a 100 person minimum, but so far our guest list is only at 128 people, and a lot OOT. I get a little (just a little) upset when i read that others had a much lower minimum than us in the same room and RH that we have, but we are already locked in. Try to negotiate as MUCH as possible

I tried to negotiate our min down from the beginning (It's 110) we're inviting like 140, however, FH is from OOT so I'm worried. I figured worse comes to worse ... I can do a 'B list' or just s uck it up. With vendors we'll probably make it. I'm not going to stress so hard about something that's 1.5 years away, in the mean time I'll try to make a lot of friends

Great advice. We guaranteed 160 and invited 250!!!! We still only ended up having 165- we just made it. Many of us got ALOT more no's than we anticipated. Good luck girls!!
