Just booked Westbury Manor

Hi, I just booked at the Westbury Manor. Phew! One vendor out of the way. On to photographer? Who should be booked after the reception hall?

Spoke to Mel at WM. He's in such a rush! I could barely get him to tell me what's the next step. He mentioned something about coming in to pick final menu and such in Sept for an Oct 1st wedding?

Rush rush! Isnt September kinda late to be finalizing menu choices and such? ;P

I responded on the WM thread - I would give Mel a call and discuss with him. Maybe he was having an off day when you booked.

Typically the menu is picked about two months before the wedding.

Congrats on picking IMHO the BEST catering facility on Long Island.

Now...to answer your question...no September is NOT too late to finalize menu, etc. It's normally done a 3 weeks to a month before your wedding.
