Just bought a dress

OK so my mom and I went to Kleinfelds tonight and we agreed before going in that we were just 'looking' but we fell in love with a really beautiful Pnina Tornai. I have never even heard of this designer and it was really expensive but it was love at first sight!!! So she bought it for me :)
It is so beautiful!!

pnina tornai designs exclusively for kleinfeld. my bm got married in november and had a pnina gown, it was BEAUTIFUL!

she is a pretty popular designer, but it is exclusively sold just at Kleinfelds but it is a good designer don't worry. I think Pnina dresses are one of the most sold dresses at kleinfelds. I swear everytime I watch 'say yes to the dress' somebody is always buying a pnina gown

seriously! and it's always the same dress they are buying, the one with the see through corset top.

It does sound like your friend's dress, it is strapless with lace and beading all over. A corset top that is tight through the hips and then aline. It is probably the opposite of anything I thought I would ever wear. I thought I would be much more plain and simple but once I had this dress on it was LOVE

YES!!!! lol as i was typing that I was thinking about that dress. I think its probably their most sold dress in that store. You know that dress will come up alot on that show

i know which dress you are talking about from the description you gave. Its a corset top, kinda looks like it would be see through around the stomach area and has something on the side of the hip and thats where the dress comes out.

Dont ask me about spending money on the dress, i definitely went a bit overboard and while others might think its crazy and i heard it from others, i was ok with it and in the end i was happy with my decision. If its in your budget and its THE dress then go for it. But if you feel uncomfortable at all or would be out of budget thats when you change your mind.

I know how much your dress is so i can still say if youre happy and ok with it then great

here is another shot of it, and regarding your question, if your mother bought you the dress i am assuming it is because she can afford it. i don't think it's crazy to spend a ton of money on a dress IF you can afford it. it's a once in a lifetime event, why not wear something you love.

she wouldnt have done it if she couldn't, well you know her financial situation best. I didnt tell DH at first how much my dress was, well i told him how much the dress was but i had extra work done to it, i added extra beading and stuff so i didnt tell him the price after I had this done but then when he found out he tried to make me feel guilty, dont even know why lol. I just asked him 'did you pay for it' no its my money and ill spend it however i want lol, and usually he is the big spender and i am not so i didnt care to hear it.
