the sellers are such dirtbags The cabinets are absolutley filthy and the stove was never cleaned in it's life. Plus he had a garbage full of old rotting food in the kitchen. So gross. Other then that everything worked and the termite damage was fixed. I can't wait to get in there and start cleaning

I don't get that little half wall thingy they did in the living room. I would think it would give you more room to open that up.

This wall actually separates the entrance way. You have to step up into the living room. I like it because I am getting a bench for that part and a coat rack. We don't have a coat closet. We can put on our shoes at the bench. Like Mister Rogers

ETA: I just realized, do you mean that weird wall dividing the living room and dinning room? I hate that thing It's a planter

That's a cool idea (coatrack and bench)!!! Especially if it's a step up, it would be odd to have it open into the room that way.

The planter thing struck me as odd too. I'd be busting out the sledgehammer on that thing.
