Just curious

How many of you know when your shower will be? I m just curious. I wanted to know when it was and my mom told me. I am not really crazt about surprises. Does a shower have to be kept secret from the bride?

I think mine will be on March 5. Got an email from my sister advicing me that March 5 will be our annual family get together. Could be true but I have a feeling it's my shower.

Mine was a surprise but fh had to tell me the date since it was the same day as twoty and he didn't want me to buy a ticket

It's usually up to the bride if she wants it to be a secret or not. There's no right or wrong on this one.

I almost wish mine wasn't a secret so I could plan it.

My family is bad at keeping secrets. They totally gave away a date it was going to be, but then wasn't because FH's cousin is getting married that day.

And I'm pretty sure I know when it's going to be. I also know it's going to e very traditional and Italian food. I reallt wanted something different. I floated a few ideas to them 1) a tea party 2) Thai or Indian food (everything for my wedidng is Italian and I really love it, but I also love Thai and Indian), 3) Citi Field.

I just know it's going to be Italian food, and all traditional.

I also caught wind that my FMIL is trying to invite all of these random people, and my mom wants her friends and the 2 co-workers I wanted got bumped off the list... ugh...At least let me plan the guest list. GEEZ.

I told my mom and FMIL that I wanted to be surprised. I LOVE surprises. I told FH that once he finds out where the shower will be, and if it's a new place we have never been, he has to bring me there way before the shower, so that I am surprised when it's actually the shower! Hope that makes sense.
