There is noway I can plan an enagement party and RD with invites, favors ect and still be sane to plan a wedding!!!

my FIL's threw our e-party so i really didnt have to do that much...
plus the whole wedding planning isnt driving me crazy, so i feel like i have the extra time for little things...esp bc we are in the process of buying a house and gutting it out right now...

i have no clue- I bought cute invitations for my e-party from party city 12 pack for 7.99 and that was that. For my rehearsal dinner maybe Ill decide to make them- not going to make a big deal

i'm doing a very low key eparty, something elegant and nice-- no DJ or anything so that we can still celebrate our engagement without killing ourselves over it. it's in two weeks and it's all done, set up, all i have to do is get dressed, do my hair/make up and go

My e-party wasn't bad at all! It depends on how big you want the party to be....All we did was pick a place & pick the menu! My FIL's did the centerpieces & decorations....
We did make the invites but we just bought card stock & vellum & our favors were fortune cookies which we put into take-out boxes with M&M's! Easy!
If I had to plan an all out E=party I think I def. would've snapped lol

I agree i think the wedding is more then enough for me .. FIL's Wanted to pay for one But I told them to save the money ..

I just had my e-party a week ago. It was in my parent’s back yard and it wasn't a big deal. I wasn't planning on having one but my FH is Greek Orthodox and it is customary to have an e-party. I believe you aren't officially engaged until you have one. It was so much fun and not much planning went into it.

We also had an e-party in my parents back yard this past weekend. It wasn't bad. Mom wanted to have a little something so we just kept it small by inviting only immediate family and our bridal party. It was nice for everyone to meet eachother.

We had our eparty even before we decided on a wedding date or place or anything. I new early on that I wanted the whole process to be as stress free as possible so one party at a time. Our RD will not be crazy. Just a dinner with everyone in the BP and our parents. I'll let the restaurant handle everything!

My in-laws are throwing us an e-party. FH's sister got married last July & she had an outrageous e-party (her in-laws threw hers) so my MIL wanted us to have the same thing (we're doing it a little more low-key). I can't believe it's in 3 weeks!!! I got the cutest favors.........mini bamboo wind chimes. Summer/tropical theme

I agree its a lot of planning. We weren't originally going to have one, but people kept asking when we were having one. After my mom agreed to pay for it, we did it. It was a ton of stuff to get done and I was way stress, however I have learn from the party and now have a much better plan at how to go about the wedding. It was like a trial run. We have so much fun and was able to use the cash we got for deposits. It was stressful, but I'd do it again.

i had my e-party last year and my mom did most of the planning... as for RD -- i don't think I can be sane for planning that and the finalization of wedding stuff -- i just hope there's some alcohol at the RD~~
