by the time i got to the duplicates not too many people were paying attention anymore lol i had too many gifts...i basically just said thank you. i dont think anyone except for my BMs noticed

Thank them. They're probably like 'derrrr' that they are the giver of a duplicate gift. 'Thanks' just as appreciative of the first-giver...then move on.

UGH I am DREADING opening gifts in front of people. My face is SO easy to read and I am a HORRIBLE actress.
I guess I'll just pretend like I didn't open one already. That seems the best route to go.
Although how hard is it to read a registry and see that something has been purchased already??? Unless two people are shopping for the same thing at the same exact time I have no idea how that happens.
I guess I would rather duplicates though than something purchased not from the registry, My cousin got a lighthouse clock at her shower. WT F is she supposed to do with that???

i actually got duplicates that werent listed as duplicates on my registry... my knift set and my good grips utensils... it didnt list 2 purchased...

My cousin just had her shower this past weekend and she responded to the dupes pretty much the same way she responded to the originals. She was nice about it which is weird b/c she's a sarcastic chick. She's was very good tho.

hmmmmmmmm, i didnt have that problem. but i would just be like 'oh, well i guess u can never have too many toaster! hahaha' people know u dont really need duplicates of many gifts and ull end up returning some stuff.
