BTW, I don't understand how duplicates even happen. When you go to the store, don't know you to make sure it is taken off the registry and marked fulfilled?? If something is fulfilled already, you DONT buy another one anyway!??!

hopefully your guests used your registry and didn't buy duplicates.

but if they did, just say something like 'i do love these enough to own two' or 'awesome, i can build that second kitchen now' .... or just ignore it completely

yeah idk people dont know how to read registries, every shower ive been too theres pretty much always been duplicates

i got a bunch of duplicates and i just basically acted like I didnt already open another one.

like 'ohhh a toaster oven, awesome!'

thankfully the only duplicates we got were sent to the house in advance! and it wwas luggage, and we realizes we could use them both! so it worked out fine

as to how it happened...one person went to the store the same day someone bought it online. how crazy!

Most BBBs will... if you push the issue. The big duplicate we got was my Margaritaville maker (as for how we ended up with 2, that's a long story for another time. ) But anyway, I returned one and they wanted to give me store credit which would've been fine... but it was the week before the wedding and I was broke so I said 'The woman I registered with told me we would get cash back on returns from the registry.' He asked where I registered and it was the same store so he didn't push it any further and gave me the !

i got 3 crock pots

and 2 frappe makers!!

the frappe makers were both from the SAME TABLE

i just laughed and said THANKSSSSSSS! lol
