Just curious... since you've been engaged...

have many people asked to see your ring when you told them you were engaged?

I always immediately ask to see girls' rings when they tell me they're engaged, and looking back, I realized that not many people have asked to see mine. Whatever... no big deal. But I always ask girls thinking they want to show it off and it's fun for them to do it. I was just getting my nails done at lunch, and thought... ya know... not too many people ever ask to see my ring. And it's a pretty ring, damn it! (ring shown smaller than actual size)...

well all my girl friends, family and close people at work... no more than that really.. i would say if it had to be a number... about 50-60... but with your post... looking back.. i would've thought more too

yeah i agree, my family and some of my friends have asked to see the ring. Sometimes I just show them myself, lol. Other than that not too many people care to see

EVERYONE. I'm still not over it myself, so I love the attention...of course, after they ooh and ahh, they remark at how tiny my finger is. i know they are thing people (4.75) but you don't have to make me feel like a freak show!!! by the way, lots of bling looks less WOW when it's on a ring this small!!!

it's funny, it gets noticed more out of state. but in ny- not so much. just goes to show you the perception of NYers...

but my co-workers, family, firends who are comfortable with me ask me all this time and try it on, hehe.

when I first got engaged I felt like everyone asked but now that the wedding is only a month away no one asks anymore...its like there is a certain time period where it is acceptable to ask.

just about everyone i know wanted to see it. simply cause it's a RARE thing for someone to actually get engaged in my family/friends circle w/o having to pop out a child first!

A lot of people asked me when I was first engaged, but it's been over a year now, so it's died down a lot. I do still have some friends and coworkers who still ask to see it and a couple of friends who like to try it on. when they see me I don't mind, I love my ring, and I love that they admire it!

everyone!!! People still do, even today I was at the mall and the lady at the makeup counter was commenting on my ring.

I love it when FH is with me and someone asks to see it, because then they start telling him what a great job he did and he of course loves it.

my family, friends and co workers have asked to see it...other than that...i know me personally...i didnt ask to see it because i thought it was rude for some odd reason to stare or ask to see someones ring...but i love showing my off too

I'd say maybe 25% of people ask to see the ring...

ha, actually, I think the last person who asked was a guy at work... and none of the girls at worked asked to see it! And he's definitely not gay, as he just got married, so... go figure!
