Just curious- where are you with your planning?

Hi ladies!

Am I the only one that thinks time is flying by? I have less than 300 days to the wedding and so feel like I have so much more to do!

With that being said, I am curious as to what things you have done, and what things you still need to do.

Hopefully this post will make me realize things I am forgetting!

I am feeling the same way. Once I hit the year mark, reality has set in and I have some work to do!

I've tried on some dresses and reached out to limo people, but that's really where I stand now. My sister is working on creating my save the dates.

I'm approaching the 6th month mark:

Limos (not yet booked likely to wait till the last minute)

On my to do list:
Florist (only need bouquets for bridal party) which explains my stalling.

Groomsmen Tuxes within the next two weeks

Just curious- where are you with your planning?

I have venue/ceremony, dress, and hotel block (not even sure I will need it).

I have a co-worker who DJs and knows lots of them, he only needs a couple of months notice with that.

We haven't booked a photographer yet, but I believe a family friend of ours will be doing the photos. Still have to meet with her.

I am ordering save the dates in the next couple of weeks.

I am doing DIY decorations, so not using a florist for that. Not sure yet on bouquets or boutonnieres. (It's only me, FH, best man and MOH)

Just curious- where are you with your planning?

We have venue, church, photog, video, DJ, and dress. STDs are going out hopefully next week- working on printing labels for them today. I haven't even started looking into florists yet- I know what types of flowers I love but don't know how that'll work with my budget or who to even meet with. I was reading a 'to do' list in one of my books the other day and was freaking out about how much we still have left to do!

I feel like I can relax...but my friend who is getting married tomorrow was saying - 'yea, you THINK so...'

I have about 200 days left, I am currently in the middle of searching for invitations. I said I would book about 1 vendor a month until everything was booked once I hit the 1 year mark.

-Flowers (FH's cousin is our florist so don't have to look for one)

Bridesmaid dresses, limos and photo booth will all be booked and/or ordered by end of August. I will also start looking into hair and makeup this month.

We have all of our venues booked, took our engagement photos (pics in albums), officiant (friend of ours), completed our registry. Now it's all the little things that add up..... So far I purchased a card box and ring bearer box from Etsy, putting the finishing touches on our invitations, ordering the favors, purchased our flutes and a gift for FH for the day of. Still have a ton more to do but taking it easy or at least trying to. Lol

We have two years and 24 days to go but I feel like I have a lot done! Venue, church, photographer, videographer, engagement shoot, guest book .. All done! Fh keeps yelling at me that if we keep booking things there won't have anything to get done.. But it's so fun!!

250 Days to go! Definitely need to start getting ourselves together now! We were full steam ahead at first but since then, we've definitely been slacking for the past few months because of work. So far...
Dress...check (it's been in my closet for a few months! Still need alterations though)
Venue...We're already up to our 3rd payment.
Centerpieces and the cake are included with the venue, so at least some of the flowers are done!
We found our photographer at an amazing price, and just need to stop procrastinating and sign
the contract. Our photog is $2K, ALL DAY (as in no time limit, from getting dressed to the end of the reception), 2 photographers, only $500 down, with the remaining cost due before the pictures are delivered to us.
I've picked the colors/style/designer of bridesmaid dresses, but the girls can't seem to get around to going to pick one (we're doing mix and match dresses).

....and a million other things. I'm not as queries about the little things, because they can be managed 3 to 6 months before. We're focusing more on the big things first so we can monitor our budget more easily. We've gotten very lucky so far in taking our time researching vendors and getting the most for our budget. My father was supposed to help us with the wedding, but luckily....knock on wood...wre haven't needed to call on him yet!
