Just curious...What is everyone paying for their...

hair and make-up and do you go to them or them to you? Also, what are you paying for your trials? Sorry if this is too personal.

they came to me...

$70 for hair
$100 for makeup

I'm paying $48.00 for my hair (trial was the same)
I'm paying $50.00 for my makeup (trial was free)

I'm going to the salon for my hair and the lady who will do my makeup is going to come to my house.

they came to me at the hotel

hair was $100 ($25 for trial was applied to final cost on the day of)

Makeup was $125 (trial was free, but i paid $25 for airbrushing)

They are coming to the hotel for me &bthe BM's.

$125 for hair the day of ($50 for trial)
max of $75 for the BM hair
Makeup is free because it's one of my friends

I just put a post on the 04 board regarding this....
The guy that I want to do my hair and makeup charges $300 for the bride and $135 for the bridesmaids and he comes to you.
I am a little in shock how much it costs for the bride! -kelly

Is he in the city? Because every artist I called in NYC charged around that amount +travel expenses!

No- From Bellmore.
He will be coming to Hicksville. We used him when my FH brother got married. I was a bridesmaid and 4 yrs ago it was $100 for hair and makeup. I asked my future sister in law how much she paid 4 yrs ago as a bride and she said $250

I know it sounds like a lot of money, and it is, but it's not over the top. If you really like this guys work, than I would just go for it.

I paid $200 for hair (that included the trial)
I paid $60 pp for makeup.

I didn't pay for hair....my friend is a hairdresser and did it for free.

I paid $100 for hair and $85 for makeup.

My MOH was $75 and $80.

MAKE UP is coming to me the day of....
make up- airbrush trial w/tip- $40.00
make-up day of- $125.00 + tip
BM if they get it done...$55 or $80 w/ airbrush

Hair we are going to the salon the day of....
hair - trial $85.00 + tip
hair day of - $125.00 + tip (i think)

Honestly, I didn't ask about hair.

I am going there the day of. It is my mom's regular salon, so I have an idea of price.

I paid $40 for a trial.

Makeup is coming to me. It is going to be $65 a person. It is a group discount & a discount for being reffered by the hair salon. I think prices start at $150 if its just 1 person, but her prices are going up she said.

A trial is $50, at the salon.
