well i had a skin tag on my neck that was bothering me and was all red and Irritated , so i dipped my nail clippers into some alchol and walked into the bathroom and snipped it rip off.
it hurt like H E L L and know its bleeding, but now that gross irrritating thing is gone

ouch.....you really should go see a derm. They zap those off in 2 seconds and this way they're gone for good.

unless you go to the derm it WILL grow back
and they will bleed for a VERY long time so be careful

well it is better now, but i called my derm and the receptionist lady told me i couldnt get an appt until the july, and it was bothering me. i told her everything and she still insisted july, so its taken care of and if it grows back i still have my appt in july to ( i have 4 more that need to be removed but they dont really bother me)

I don't blame you for trying yourself -- I have to pay $40 just to see my derm (copay for specialists S U C K S) and I have to go a lot. But please take care of it well!

it could get infected.
when it comes back just go to the dermatologist and have it removed.

Jillian!!!!!!!! Honey, keep that area free of infection!! Triple antibiotic, perhaps? I had two removed at my dermatologist, and the area hurt for awhile, but, I'm thrilled because I don't have to be embarrssed to wear a sleeveless top now!! Mary MOB

Gee, I thought I was the only one that did stuff like this. lol. I used to have this little wart on my knee years ago. I used to clip it off or use a razor blade and remove it after the shower. And may I commend my surgical skills.... it never grew back. But it did bleed like a b*tch. lol... gross.
