just e-mailed out round 1 of our 'out of town guide'

FH and I ... well.... I... put together an out of town guide for our many OOT guests with info on our blocked hotel, cabs, rental cars, restaurants, etc and then a section on NYC (FH's family is coming in early to stay in the city for a few days since many have never been to NY before).

We just e-mailed out a copy to our OOT guests who have received STDs, and I'll follow up with a copy to our OOT family members once I have their e-mail addresses.

I'm hoping our friends will start reserving hotel rooms! also, hopefully it will give us an idea of which OOTers are going to come.

I think we're going to send it out to the nonSTD friends after our invites go out in a few months, and then leave a copy in our OOT hotel baskets.

I've already gotten one reply and it hasn't even been 2 minutes

That's a great idea! Any suggestions on where people can go for restaurants and things like that?

I have a page on restaurants within ~2 miles of our hotel, and also a page on local attractions like jones beach, roos field, nautical mile, etc
