Congrats and Welcome!! You will find alot of help here. Take some time to enjoy being engaged and talking to your family. Start writing down your ideas about what kind of wedding you want whether its big or small. This should help out when choosing a venue. Once you find a venue everything kind of starts falling into place.

Congrats and enjoy being engaged.
My suggestion is two fold:
1. Come up with a preliminary list to figure out whether you are talking about a wedding with 100 people or a wedding with 200 people. This makes a difference for some of the venues you are going to look at.
2. Come up with your budget so that you can narrow down what rehearsal halls to look at.
this! congrats! and welcome!!

Re: Just Engaged
Thank you everyone!
We made a rough guest list tonight to get an idea of how many people we were looking at, and its a bit scary! I really wasnt expecting to be looking at around 155 people (we are inviting 191 but expecting around 150).
Im actually a bit scared now to start looking at halls With the number of people we have, even at $100 pp is going to be $15000++
Does anyone have any november/december prices theyd be willing to share??

Congratulations and welcome!!!! Best advice is to enjoy the engagement for a little bit before you dive into planning. Because once you're in, you're IN!!
This!! And then start check out RH's :)

I visited over 25 RH's like a crazy person so once you decide what you are looking for let me know and I can help.. My quotes were for summer but you can assume yours will be even better!
