Welcome and Congratulations!!!

Yes, the first thing you should do is set a budget and an approx number of people you plan on inviting. Then start to look at catering halls. The rest will fall into place. The bridal expos are very informative - as are all the ladies on LIW.

Welcome and congrats!!!!!! I would definately start working on a budget and looking at halls. Halls for 2007 are booking up like crazy!

The first thing that FH and I did was decide what time of the year we wanted our wedding, we set a budget, and then went around to different catering halls to see what we liked and also what was available. After we found the catering hall, we went to the church to make sure the date was available. Then we booked both the reception and the church. After that, we worked on everything else little by little. We really did not have a system or an order to anything else. I love every minute of the planning though. It is so much fun, and the girls on here have given me some EXCELLENT ideas!
