Just Engaged this Weekend!!!!

Hi Everyone...OMG I am soooo excited. I just got engaged this past weekend on Sunday.
My BF proposed at the same place where we first hung out and started it all 4 years ago.

I am looking forward to planning a Fall 2007 wedding.
I hope to get alot of ideas and help of course from you ladies. Right now, i feel VERY overwhemled and am just trying to enjoy being enagaged but truthfully I do not know where to begin! i think i may start with a budget and looking at halls.

Any suggustions would be great....thanks in advance!!

To start - get some wedding magazines and see what you like and don't like, than start looking at RH's - expo's are great things to attend to meet many vendors at once!!!!!!!

I would defiantly have a date in mind and then start looking at halls. Everything will fall into place once you get that done.

Congrats and welcome! First of all take a moment and enjoy being engaged!!! After the shock and excitement have calmed down the first thing to do it book the church and hall. You need to have a date in mind before going to the church, which you should do first....then once you have a date in mind the church can give you their availabilty. Then onto the halls...def check out the RH websites on LIW then narrow them down and go ASAP 2007 is right around the corner!

my advice is ENJOY YOUR ENGAGEMENT!

and then what I did was i planned everything one thing at a time ( well thats what I am doing now)

for example i only dealt with the church and then when that was booked i went to the hall and then when that was done i got a DJ

now i am immersed in photographers - it helped me keep things straight in my head

ENJOY planning!
