just finished our first in-store registering session

how the hell did you decide which sheets to get?

i do so much better at the computer where i can look things up on amazon and read the reviews.

but for things like sheets where you want to be able to see and feel them in person... it is so hard. we never did pick a set.

oh we did this today too!! not sheets, i mean our first in-store registering session. it was fun!

sheets were easy for me because there were sheets i have always loved but were too expensive to justify getting for myself, so i went with those!

we could. i just couldn't make up my mind. the ones i liked how they felt, i didn't like the colors.

we were like 'i wish THESE came in THAT color with THAT pattern'... repeatedly.

eventually i just...walked away.

Go with the highest thread count there

thats what i thought but the higher thread count weren't always the nicer feeling ones to us. and some 400 counts felt different from other 400 counts. etc.

in ivory stripe. They seem to be on clearance now at BB&B -- they were SUPER expensive 1000 thread count and I never in a million years thought anyone would get them for us, but my dad's friend (who is also a former boss of mine, come to think of it) got it for an engagement present for us!

They are amazing. DH says it's like sleeping in a fancy hotel every single night! He doesn't let me put any other sheets on the bed so I have to wash them and get them back on all in one day! It's funny. They are so amazing.
