Just finished 'The Secret Life of Bees'

Don't remember who recommended it but it was a good read. Al's reading it too (actually he listens to the book on tape during his commute). He started first, but I blew past him

You would probably like the Bean Trees by the same women who wrote Poisonwood Bible. I finished that a few weeks ago and it was a good read, not as good as Poisonwood but pretty good.
