Just for Fun Poll

How many of you called at least one ex to tell him you were engaged?

Also, how many of you had an ex call you to tell you that HE is engaged?

I called one ex, but he's a friend of both of ours now so it wasn't like a spite call or anything LOL

i saw my most recent ex right after we got engaged...i knew she was either married or getting engaged from word of mouth. she cause me a great pain that still lies deep in my head...so i frooze up and hid from her until she left (this happened at CVS btw)

what kinda man hides from his ex that he hates?

to say the least...i didnt want to talk to the bi8tc$@

I was talking to an ex on AIM right before FH proposed and then when I told him, well I havent spoken to him since. Oh well...

Not that I tried to, but I bumped into an ex at a wake about a week before our wedding and told him b/c I saw him. It's funny b/c I knew DH as friends while I was dating this guy b/c DH and the guy's brother were friends.

NOPE didn't call anyone

BUT my one of my ex's did find out that i got married (through LIW connections...it is a small world) and the DAY i got back from my HM he IM'ed me to say:
'SO YOUR MARRIED?!'

Before Dh and i got engaged my ex called me to tell me his still thought of me and i told him where to go because i did not want to be bothered by him anymore so i hung up on him. so one of my friends said he was calling me to tell me that he was getting married and he got a girl pregnant i found that out after i got married. what a loser he is.

I'm friends with a lot of my exes, so I spoke to 5 or 6 of them to let them know I was engaged! I know, it's really weird. So far, only one of my exs is married, and I knew he was proposing before he did it.

I only called 1 to rub it in. And one heard through the grapevine and emailed me about it. Another I was still friends with so the next time I saw him after being engaged I showed him my ring.

So far none of my exs have gotten engaged or gotten married.

I called one after we got engaged, but we're still friends. We were each others first loves, so there's still a bond between us and I wanted to tell him myself before he heard it through the grapevine. When he gets engaged, he will call me too. In fact, I'll probably know before he does it.
There are other guys I've dated, but no one I care about enough to give two sh!ts if they got engaged or married.

i called just to rub it into his face....make him see what a good thing he lost.......he got pissed but then he did the same to me....sad thing is i was over him a long time ago

Yep...I let them know. One of their mothers called to see how I was and I said 'Great, I am getting married next month'. I haven't heard from her since!
