My FH Parents and Sister live in Washington State. They just informed us that they will be staying with and that we should expect him to arrive TWO WEEK'S before our Wedding Date!!! Yikes!!!! I'm already having Heart Palpitations!

Money is really tight for them. We actually thought we might have to even buy their Airplane tickets.

Well, since you were considering paying for plane tickets, I would consider paying for a hotel. If that is not an option, I would make a list NOW of things you need help with (wrapping favors, etc) that they can be involved in and put them all to work.

Good Luck! This might somehow work in your favor though - I am sure you can use a few extra hands as you get closer to the wedding date with wrapping favors and anything extra.

Sorry but this is really imposing on people.
Trust me... I know! My family is coming from Europe and staying at my house. They are staying a bit over 1 week. Feeding everybody for 1 week is a lot of $$$. Plus you have to 'entertain' them.
I could not imagine staying at someone house for more than 1 week. The cost of the tickets is the same if they stay for 1 week...:(

I can't believe they're coming for a full 2 weeks before the wedding- as if you didn't have enough going on! If they insist on coming that early, and they have to stay with you, definitely give them stuff to do. Otherwise, it will make you crazy.

The last two weeks were the most stressful for me - without even having to cater to my future in-laws. Good luck. Can you go stay with your family or a close friend? Even if you get along with your FIL's-that will be tough.
