Just got back from...

Visiting Venues for the first time!!!!

We went to:
North Ritz Club
Jericho Terrace
Leonard's of Great Neck

I can't believe how much more affordable these places were than I thought!!

Fell in love with Jericho Terrace but are going to continue looking this weekend, just in case

I was shocked at how afforable Leonards was. It turned out to have the best price of all the RH's we visited in Nassau and Queens (including Riveria, Swan Club, Westbury Manor, etc). FH took one look at Leonards and said 'oh we cant afford that!!'.

I came back with the quote and Leonards won out on price alone.

Another reason prices have dropped is due to the economy. Not many people can afford to drop 50g's on a wedding these days.

OMG I agree... I was shocked as well, and especially b/c we got a good price for a Fri evening wedding so we booked asap lol. I loved Jericho Terrace as well but we couldn't meet the minimum for the room we wanted, but its beautiful.

My FH said the same exact thing as soon as we walked in! So funny. We were literally in shock at how low the price was. They said it was because they own it and have owned it for 50 years so there is no middle man. Thank goodness for that!

We are planning on looking everywhere LOL. The Coral House, Larkfield Manor, Venetian Yacht Club, Majestic Gardens, The Watermill, CLM, Woodbury Country Club. We need to find a reasonably price place that is still beautiful and has good food, hence the ridiculous amount of places.

It's different than most other places.

we were between NRC & JT! They were both gorgeous but we went with Jericho Terrace in the end! Good luck!!!!!!

Thats exactly why I booked Leonards they beat all the other locations on price wise...so you have the ambiance and a great deal :)

i second this... my FH said the same thing.. this place can not be in our budget and it was! i am almost positive this is where we are booking.
