Just Got back from Aruba..Review
Aruba was wonderful! We went horsebcak riding, tubing, hung out at the beach and pool and tried out luck at the casino. Food in Aruba:
Sunset Grill at the Radisson : Excellent. I had the Clams Casino for an appetizer, grilled chicken for main course and Caribbean Cannoli for dessert. I enjoyed my dinner!
El Gaucho's : Excellent! . I had an 8 oz filet and my DH had the 16 oz El Gaucho Steak. I had the most amazing pumpkin soup. The flan for dessert was so yummy.
Valentino's: It is an Italian Restaurant locates at the Caribbean Palm Village Resort. I tried to make reservations online but the never contacted me back. I made reservations agin when we got to the hotel. When we arrived at the restaurant there was no hostess for about 10 minutes. We waited downstairs with about 5 other couples waiting for someone to come. Finally the manager arrived and brought us to our tables. There seemed to be about only 2 waiters and the staff was not communicating at all and really seemed confused and was slow. I enjoyed the food but for the price, I didn't feel it was worth the price because the service was really bad.
The Radisson was an amazing hotel..located on the calmest beach I had ever seen. You can put your lounge chair in the water and it wouldn't move.
We had some luck at the slots at the casino at the Radisson. The resort was filled with friendly iguanas and parrots. I want to go back!
