Just got back from Cindy's wedding...

...at Stewart Manor. What a beautiful, beautiful wedding. The place really did it up nice. They had the ceremony there officiated by a priest and rabbi and it was definitely a tearjerker. Gosh, I'll let her fill in all the details when she returns from her honeymoon. But she really made a gorgeous bride and she and her fiance looked radiant. I could go on and on but I just wanted to say that I give Stewart Manor the double thumbs up. She dedicated her bouquet to me during the reception and I was overcome..I'm next in our circle. It was very touching and nice surprise. So I'll let her fill in the rest...

I was really concerned about finding a dress to match the bridesmaids with the flowergirl, who is only going to be 4 1/2 years old. Plus, the flowergirl and her mother, my matron of honor, are from out of town.

She didn't want to do an bouquet/garter toss and I guess the anniversary dance didn't appeal to her either. It was actually a surprise when I heard my name mentioned by the DJ. I was very touched and I think it was a really nice gesture even if I was another guest not just as the recipient :o). It woulde probably make you MOH feel very special. Are your MOH & BM marrying each other? or coincidentally both getting married right after you? I assume the former...

Thanks for all of your help...you definitely gave me a lot to think about! :) I just want to look at many places and see what I like. I have some family in the Bronx, lower Westchester and some in Nassau and Suffolk county. MichelleW I will definitely email you b/c I have a few questions. Thanks everyone...keep the suggestions coming!

That sounds so nice-- They are both getting married right after me-- and we are all in each others bridal parties-- and there is a 4th person added to that list but because of timing we are on our honeymoon for that one ;-)
We are doing the anniversary dance but I like this idea as well

What does that signify? is it because you are the next to get married? My MOH and BM are both gettin married right after me and I would love to do something special for them--since I am the first--thank god I get to get it over with--I would rather be at their wedding saying we should have.... rather than lets...
