i loved it although didnt find 'the one' (i dont think at least). did reallly like 2 dresses: an alvina valenta
and a rivini that i cant find a pic of (kleinfelds doesnt let you take pics ). its kind of like this one but the top is slightly different. i cant find it online and the woman there said it had just come in:
anyway this was my first official dress shopping! it was SOO MUCH FUN! i dont remember the last time me and my girls had so much fun. and they all showed up too which i didnt think would happen since our schedules are all so different. i didnt find 'the one' although im leaning slightly towards the alvina although my BMs like the rivini better..im waiting for that feeling and the crying that you all seem to do..i hope that happens otherwise im gonna have a hard time deciding - i already love them both!! any good recommendations on where to go next?? there are some maggie's that i want to try on - whats a good store for that?? thanks!!
edited to add that i really enjoyed my appt there. the woman i worked with (audrey i think) was really nice. she was patient and when i got stuck between the two dresses she told me to go home and think about it and not rush the decision. she was great and i would reocmmend them and i am def going back cause i asked them to order a few specific samples for me.

I loved trying on dresses too.. even though I only tried on a handful until I found THE ONE!!!

they're both beautiful! i went to kleinfelds last weekend and had a great time shopping there also! everyone was very helpful... and did find 'the one.' i didn't cry... but i did know that it was the right dress! as soon as i put it on, i knew
wait for that moment!
i'm surprised you couldn't find 'the one' at kleinfeld though! they had soooo many dresses!
but keep searching, and you'll find it

I got my dress at Kleinfeld's. It's an Alvina Valenta. I had a wonderful experience there. My consultant was fabulous!!!

the only weird thing was that i had an 6:45 appt and was done by 8:10. i think once she knew i wasnt ready to purchase she laid back a little on bringing me samples. i prob tried on a total of 10-12 dresses. but also my mom and my 3 bm's were there so it was like craziness going on and i did find 2 that if i had to choose between i dont know how i would choose. at that point i think she stopped brining anything more. i wanted to try on more and walk around and grab stuff off the floor - that was prob the one thing i missed - the actual fun of shopping and looking through racks of stuff..but it was def nice not having to lug around 4 dresses since they weigh like 25lbs each LOL

If you tell them your price range they will only bring you dresses in your range. That's what I did. I didn't want them bringing me $10K dresses when I was only willing to spend $3K.
