Just got back from my MOHs wedding ...
I was her MOH and the wedding was on Friday night at the Villa Borghese in Wappinger Falls, NY. I went up there on Thursday for the rehearsal dinner which was at Villa Nove and it was very yummy. We had an awesome time. They had a bar in there and after we all stayed and drank and had fun.
the morning of the wedding we woke up and went to get our hair done at Dazzles....If anyone is getting married up there somewhere I do NOT recommend this salon- My hair was pretty but the girl who did it was one big BIOTCH! Most of the girls came home unhappy with their hair or the stylist who did it , including the bride! I got my makeup done and it was very nice although I had to reapply after only an hour. It was not $$$ though.
the Villa Borghese is a very nice place to have a wedding if anyone is looking there.
The DJ was Jimmy Dee and they were VERY good. There were a lot of college friends there and we were all kept happy with the music, but they also included the normal 'wedding' type music. The groom is hispanic and to make his side of the family pleased they played bachata, salsa and merengue... it was A lot of fun!
the cake was gorgeous but I dont know where they got it! I didnt taste it. Actually I barely tasted any of the food - I literally danced EVERY single song- I was drinking and dancing all night...I came home hungry but very tired : )
We stayed at the Marriot Courtyard in Fishkill which I do NOT recommend-
Her family had a brunch this morning at their house which was delicious and we were able to enjoy eachother all over again!
