we did that a few months ago. it's nice. but i kept my own acct too just to keep a little spending freedom.
We did the same thing Wedding money, mortgage and all house expenses come out of the joint account.

Awwww we did that about 3 months ago! I def kept my own account. I hate to say it , but ya never know!

FH and i opened a joint account in FEB when we moved into the new apartment. we got sick oh having to go to the bank when rent was due to take out our respective half. so we have one checking acct, together but all the other accts are still open. once we get married i think we`ll get one savings and our own checkings...this way he can`t get too mad at my shoes and shirts and bags and other stuff when i go on a shopping spree lol

FH and i have our separate accounts right now and we have a joint account with the teachers credit union. We put the money we recieved at our e-party in our joint and FH put it in a CD.
once we are closer to our date we are going to decide what bank we want to use and we will only have a joint account. right now we have accounts in 3 different banks.
It doesnt bother us, what is his is mine and mine is his. Thats the least of my stressors!
