No, I think we all got a piece of the cake...it had raspberry or strawberry filling on the bottom layer and chocolate mousse on the top....

Jack and Rose took their flowers because they had another showcase. I liked my blue bo-k. I wanted to dry it upside down. But you could have taken LAblossom home.

... we had a VERY pretty lablossom one at our table. it was all red roses with crystals in some of them...

next time an announcement should be made about the centerpieces not up for grabs, to avoid confusion

The florist actually came back to collect the centerpieces.. my mom loved the one we had at our table and a rose one and wanted to bring it home for my cousin... (recently engaged)...

The florist guy (i assume he was the florist guy) was REALLY rude when she asked him!

According to him, nobody took home centerpieces.

Im SO UPSET! I just went in my bag of goodies to get the wine stopper that Linda Lovelies gave out. I was gonna show my mom and I don't have it I must have left it there. Im so SAD now.

I just wanted to chime in and say what a nice time we had today.

Sorry I wasn't as social as I'd like to be, I guess the transition from online to in person was a little more difficult for me to make. But meeting you guys was still fun.

Ditto! Unfortunately....I'm a social misfit in these types of gatherings...and FH and I sat by ourselves at a table in the back. I love talking to your girls on here...but when it comes to meeting new people...I just don't know how to do that. Special thanks to Jen_n_Dale (Jenn) and Jess2 for coming up to me to say hello. I'm such a loser in these types of situations...thank god FH was there! We had to leave early (around 6), so we missed the prizes...I guess I didn't win anything!!

I just wanted to say that I had a great time although my FI Alix thinks we are all bananas. He had more fun talking to 2003Oct10 and neespie's moms than he did doing anything else. I'm glad I got to meet D&J, Groovy peg, cmc723 and NYlisa as well. I should have mingled more but I was a little shy. By the way Neespie thanks for saying I look like Vanessa Williams. I don't see it but I love to hear it.

Alixgirl, I said this before on another thread, but I have to agree with neesipie..you do look like her! you are beautiful!!

LOL! seriously, when i went for food at the cocktail hour, the servers cell phone went off and he answered it right in front of me!! here i am holding the dish out for him to get some food and he's talking on the phone! LOL! the supervisor hit him on the arm and was like'uh hello, your working'. it was quite amusing!

i had a great time meeting everyone. my one complaint was that the music was so loud that it was hard to talk and hear people.

cant wait to do it again!!

I'm so excited about Sex and the City tonight but so sad it will be done soon

That is soo cool that they did your makeup there. What a great way to see who you like!

Hi!! just wanted to say we had a great time!!! I didn't get to meet as many people as I wanted = it's weird - we talk all day and it person - I was a little weird - got a little shy - wish it was easier to meet! We sat with mandy77 (who won the trip) and pinkrose - has a lot of fun - we won a four hour lino ride - sorry - if there is typos - fi and i went out afterwards and I am drunk! but i just wanted to say we had a good time!!

Me too. Especially since I was sick and it was hard for me to yell over the music!!! I could barely hear the people at my table.

I had fun at the GTG too! Thank you Liz and Ron! It was so great to finally be able to put faces to names! It was terrific to get to talk to you ladies in person, and I wish I had gotten to meet more of you! I'm rather shy too, and wish I had forced myself to mingle more. (And yes, it was very difficult to talk/hear over the music.) The centerpieces were gorgeous, and my FH and I are now completely addicted to the Chocolate Fountain! Oh, also, I forgot to get a goody bag. Where were they?

Don't forget, Ron said to e mail him about any questions or concerns for the next gtg.

That is a good idea about having it be more of a mingler. I know I would have liked to say hello. I think we are all in the same boat where we would have liked to talk to more people. But there is always next time.
