Just got bad news .. update

Not fair for me to just post that so heres the deal.

Mom was diagnosed w/stage 1 breast cancer. Had the surgery - they removed the lump, radiation for months - claimed everything was good.

She found another lump. Switched to a better dr. Just found out she was misdiagnosed. Lump is still there - bigger than expected. Stage 2.

Ugh - feel sick and so pissed at the first surgeon.

I'm so sorry! But listen - because I've been there with my grandma - don't waste your energy being angry at doctors for screwing up, just focus on working with the new ones to get her better.

Look on the brighter side... It's not stage 4, it's not a hopeless situation where they're saying she can't have treatment or anything. My FMIL had stage 2 and had multiple lumps and went through surgery and radiation and she is FINE now, 2 years later. You will be okay, this is just a bump in the road...
