Hi everyone, Just got engaged ,but can't wait already. what exactly comes first? We already started looking at caterers. Has anyone ever been to The Riviera in massapequa bay? Or Flowerfields?

Congratulations and welcome!!! The hall is the best thing to look at first, and then coordinate it with a church if you are going to have your ceremony at one, and that will set your date and everything can be booked from there! Happy Planning and Congrats again!

flowerfields is beautiful --same caterer as Land's End (on the water) i am bias....lovin ovin caterers they are great!!

figure out how many people you'll have because most halls like to know that right off the bat..that was one of my mistakes..then figure out how much you can spend..this is a great website so enjoy..

When I first got engaged we started by looking at reception halls and had to make a preliminary guest list because they will ask you and you don't realize until you actually start to write the names down. Also...get a bridal planner to keep everything in! Good Luck & Congratulations! I've heard Flowerfields is beautiful!
