It just came in the mail and of course I used it right away (I always get so nervous between my monthly ob appts like something is wrong) but I found the baby's heartbeat right away-nice and loud at about 162-164 beats/min---it's such a great sound!

That's great! I was strongly considering getting one when Alvatorre74 said she ordered hers.... now knowing how much fun you both are having with it makes me want to hear my babies heartbeat too! I think it's gonna be any day now and I'll be the next one ordering! Have fun with it!

OK so I can't get this out of my mind--
Which one is everyone renting? do I need the recorder one? I know I want the digital display so it counts the heart beats--
Which brand and model is everyone using?
I think today is the day I make the plunge!! I want to hear my baby too!!!
