I stopped breathing on an average of 29 times an hour. I have t o go back Mon. night and slleo there again and this time theu will put the oxygen machine on me to see how much I need so they can order me a machine for my house.
Now I am going to look like Darth Vader, I am sure I will turn fh on w. a tube coming out of my nose every night.
Anyway, I guess its good that they found out and supposedly once I get the oxygen I need when I am sleeping I will be a diiferent person, not tired all the time and no more headaches.

I'm sorry to hear that you have sleep apnea but I'm so glad they found the problem and can fix it!!

where did you get this done? Because I always feel tired, no matter how many hours i sleep....
My doctor is sending me to Bethpage on Hempstead Turnpike, I think it's in that medical building next to New Island Hospital.

Thanks, I know, my dr. said that there are hundreds of thousands of people who have it and don't know. I guess its good I found out, it was just a little scary. I think fh is a little freaked out too.

ooh scary...i am always telling FH to go for the sleep test...I am convinced he stops breathing when he is sleeping
Hope everyhting works out good....marriage is for good and bad, better to have you tubes and all than not at all.....glad to hear that they know what is wrong and can help you feel better..

my dad had really bad sleep apnea and had the surgery for it. he still snores like a grizzly bear but he says he sleeps much better and he's a heck of a lot less cranky now.
i'm sure it'll help you tons! And pffffssshhh you're hot enough to be sexy even with an oxygen tank hooked up to you.

i'm sorry = but you now know what is going on, and i'm sure you could use a good night sleep and a day w/ no headache. i'm sure fh would rather see ur tube than see u be misserable, and just think when hes putting you in cardiac arrest from a gooood night you will still have air.

That's interesting.....I have trouble sleeping and have headaches constantly....wonder if I should get tested! What kind of a doctor did you go to? Feel better!

so sorry sweetie, but at least you found out! My dad said the same exact thing when he found out he needed the machine. ( darth vader) its not so bad. Just remember its gonna help you!!! feel better!!

my mom has sleep apenia (or however you spell it lol) and the breathing machine has really made a huge difference in her life- she is sooo much more pleasant to be around... i wouldnt worry about fh- put it on after he falls asleep lol
