Just got off the phone with Dell

After FH swore to me that he knew what he was doing (never trust that, right?) we decided to reboot my entire system on the laptop. I kept getting a lot of pop-ups and messages about some 'backdoor Trojan' virus. So, he starts doing it and leaves me with the rest of the CDs and goes to bed.

Well, sure enough, the computer is saying it needs some sort of file that it can't find. I try to wake him up and all I get is 'huh? what?' Ugh!! So I just spent an hour on the phone with Dell trying to do this the *right* way. FH is going to get an earful in the morning.

Hee, hee, hee! That's why we are expecting a new computer to be delivered from Dell...

My DH swore that he knew how to fix our computer and now the CD drive does not work, the computer just gets 'stuck', the computer will just shut down for no aparent reason, the font in what ever you are typing in just changes- size, color etc!

It's so frustrating and he has been trying to fix it for over 6 months. I finally told him that I'm going to throw the computer out the window if he doesn't get it right! I was serious! So- hepicked up the phone and ordered a new computer
