Just got some really terrible news

A friend of mine and my sisters had been trying to get pregnant for a while and she couldnt. So she went to the doctors and had tests run and found out yesterday that she has uterine cancer... She is 32!!! She is going to Sloan Kettering on Monday and having her entire uterus removed... I am completely floored... I haven't told Shaun yet, because I can't keep my emotions under control right now...

thanks everyone...

she will be on bed rest for a month after the surgery...

she will be thrown in to early menopause...

i cant even imagine what its going to be like for her... she has 2 little kids, and her husband is running around like a chicken with his head cut off... he has no clue what to do!!

oh no menopause my sisters doc left her ovaries in so she wouldnt have to go through this. she is going to be in a lot of pain for a while. shes going to need a lot of help from you. shes lucky to have someone like you in her life. my heart really goes out to her and her family

OMG I am so sorry!!! What heartbreaking news for her and all of you!!! I will be praying for her. Please keep us updated as to how her surgery goes.

So sorry she's gotten this horrible news. But she's definitely going to the right place for treatment. I used to work at Sloan and they are definitely one of the best. Good luck to her, keep us posted.
