My Grandpa was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in September. He was doing pretty well for a while, but lately he has started to slide and feel pretty sick. They changed his chemo to a more aggressive drug, and it made him really really sick. I just found out that he is in the hospital, dehydrated, with a fever and infection. He and my grandma won't be able to make it to the wedding
This ***** so much. I am so close to my grandparents, and they mean the world to me. I don't know how I will be able to get married without them there, and I am so worried about my grandpa.
Thanks for listening, girls. I am just so distraught and don't know what to do.

i made a sign for my grandmother that says 'We miss you & we love you' - FH and I plan on taking a few pics with this sign and then making her an album with it (and other wedding pics too) ... maybe you could do the same?

Please know that your entire family is in my prayers. Be tough and enjoy your day. They love you and want you to have the best day ever. Take a minute to call them some time during the day to tell them how your day is going.

Are they live close by? Is it at all possible that you can go see them in the hospital in your wedding dress?
They live in Florida They were supposed to fly up on Friday for the wedding.

oh nooo i'm really so so sorry to hear that.. my grandma was sick last year when we had our engagement party and thought she wasn't going to make it, she couldn't come but she was there in spirit and has since passed so I know what you are going through. Be strong -maybe do something meaningful at the wedding to say how much you miss their presence?
