The main rd the bus takes was at a standstill and I had to walk a mile uphill to get to my office! I was an hour late and all the major highways were underwater, it was mayhem. How were your commutes?

After wandering around downtown in the heat and humidity for an hour trying to figure out how to get to midtown, I threw in the towel and went home! I am working from home today!
NYC is such a disaster in the rain!

I brought my puppy to the vet today and we sat in and hrs worth of traffic on the way home. She even got sick in the car

i commuted from the bedroom to the computer room in a little less than 90 seconds. it was lovely. then i turned on the tv to watch the news and was blown away by what i saw.
i didnt even know it rained this morning!

LMAO at bemyyoko. i had an equally interesting commute bemy. i commuted from the bedroom to the kitchen table.. and have been here ever since.. productively working..
glad everyone is okay.. qand i hope they get everything fixed before it's time to go home!

I heard the rain, but I work from home.
I got Kerri beat. I can literally roll out of bed and be at work. If I really tried, My feet wont even have to touch the floor...lol
But I do get up and showered and dressed every day so I dont feel like a bum.
Im glad everyone got to work OK. This rain is SO crazy these past few years.
I lived in PA last year and the rivers would overflow and the whole city would literally be under 8 or more feet of water. then once people got settled and fixed up- it would happen again
I dont miss those 62 mile each way commutes to my office in NJ- I can tell ya that much.
