My dad sent me the bill from my parents wedding 52 years ago...get this- $365 for 21 guests with an accordian player! This was small but it was black tie! This included $2.65 for the hat check...Times have changed!

lol its soo funny, my dad told me with what I'm paying to feed 15 ppl at my wedding he fed all 100 of guests at his 1972 wedding! and that was considered OUtreageous back then...
my fear is what will my kids weddings run me

Seriously, both my mom and my florist; both had small weddings with a reception at a resteraunt. My mom's flowers were white and spray painted bluish (i'm not kidding!) This is what they did in the 60s and 70s apparently! It was something like $500.
