Thankfully my FH had it all insured before he gave it to me. Not sure of the specifics, but I know it's great coverage.

Yes me too! I went to State Farm who covers my car and it covers everything 100% only for $90 a year! So worth it!

I insured my ring with State Farm, where I have my auto policy. I did a separate policy for the ring, which was a Personals Article Policy. When we eventually get a house and get homeowners insurance, we can then just add it on there.
For any girls who still live with their parents, you can probably have your ring added on to your parent's homeowners policy.

Yes...I did it thru Geico, but they have a company that they use for renters insurance. I can't think of the name right now : (
