Just insured my E-Ring! Has anyone else!

I just insured my E ring for really cheap through my car insurance company!!!! It was just about 100 dollars for the entire year with no deductable and full coverage in the event anything should happen to my ring! I think eveveryone should consider doing this if they havent already!

I agree - everyone should have there ring insured. I did it through my homeowners insurance about a week after we got engaged.

FH insured my ring through homeowners insurance when he bought it....He was smart, he was traveling with the ring b/c he proposed in Aruba.

That's great info. FH and I live with his family so we don't have a homeowner/renter's insurance. I should check into adding it with car insurance. Which company did you go thru?

Yay! I think everyone should insure their ring. I went right away and am so glad I did! I insured it through our homeowner's insurance though...same thing.

I was going to do it as soon as I got mine but I never got around to it. I will probably do both rings under home owners insurance after we get a house.

i insured mine through Jeweler's Mutual. It was actually wayyy cheaper than putting it through my homeowners...it came to $240 for the year! (i worked in insurance for 5 years so i got like 3 quotes for it lol)

Yup- He did it w/ Jewlers Mutual before he gave it to me b/c he knew I wouldnt wear it without ins.

You ar eright- its not that much in the scheme of things- imaging if you had to go and replace it Its hard enough to save the $ for one..lol

I posted about this not too long ago...I am an insurance broker. Please make sure you insure your e-rings and wedding bands too !!! If you still live at home, you can put it on the homeowners policy if not add to your own home or renters policy another option is to write a separate poolicy for the jewelry

mine was a separate policy than the home owners as our agent recommended, about 120 for year, no deductible
