Just met with our engineer and the house looks good...
He said the house is sound and looks good, it is desperately in need of updating but nothing structural. Now I just have to get through the bank appraisal tomorrow morning and meet with my mtge person tomorrow afternoon and if everything goes ok there we will then work on the contract. Yaaaaaayyyy.

Thats great! Its such a huge relief! one question....why do you have to meet with your mortgage person first?
We are going to contract later this week and we havent met with the bank at all, so I was just curious.
