Just Need to Vent
I have been going to the same hair person for about 8 years now and she's become friends with the family. When she found out I was getting married, she got all excited and took off of work because she was going to do everyone's hair.
Fast forward to this past weekend. I call her to give her a final count of how many people need their hair done and she says she really doesn't feel well and that we're gonna have to go to her house instead of her coming to us because she has to dress her son. Mind you, she has a husband who is home and does nothing...not to mention the time I went to her house to get my hair done it took forever because her son has extreme ADD and she had to attend to him every 10 minutes. Everyone told me she was going to try to find some way to get out of it.
Luckily, my cousin is good friends with a hair dresser. She called her up and explained the situation and is now doing our hair. Even though I was able to get someone else, it's so frustrating that my original hair person screwed me over.
