Just need to vent

I am in need of some long island love tonight. As some of you may know I am currently living in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The girls down here are such fake b*tches!!!! Its so hard finding REAL friends like my long island girls from back home. Everytime i talk to any of my so called 'friends' from work here about anything having to do with my wedding, they change the subject or just start talking to someone else as if I never said anything!!! You know what I call them ---> HATERS!!! Anyway, thanks for letting me get that off my chest-- cant wait until this time next year because we will be moving back to Long Island!!

Though I am not from LI, I am from Rochester NY. And I totally agree with you about not to take it for granted! I moved to Clearwater FL in August of 2007 and I am already living back in NY! I missed it so much here! No place compares to NY!!!!!!!! Oh by the way it must be a Florida thing because I also had a hard time finding someone in FLA i could trust as a friend. You will be home in no time! Good Luck!

Dianne, it seems that kinda thing goes on in Lancaster, Pa. also!! Debi has a co-worker that treats her that way. She criticized her e-pic, who Deb chose for BM, etc., etc., ad nauseum. Debi said she's 'toxic' for you!! Mary MOB

There's no place like home! I moved off LI for 6 months, went to MD, hated it....and now I dont ever want to leave again.

Thank you so so so so much for all of your kind words!!! They mean the WORLD to me!! FH and I just went out for a drink and in that little amount of time I was gone, I got more support and uplifting words then I've had the whole time I've been here!!!
