just need to vent

Hi girls,
my wedding is in 3.5 months and I feel so overwhelmed!! There are so many things I didn't do yet (or even think of!!) and I want to just CRY.

thank goodness I have a lot of married friends who can give me good advice but how in the heck do you get all those little things done?!! I know it all will work out. just needed to vent a bit since I feel like I am going to have a BREAKDOWN.

ah, ok I'm done.

oh hey, here's a question: does anyone put table cameras on the tables anymore? I am debating about this. anyone doing that?

try to relax..all will be fine and u will get done what u have to get done

as for the cameras i dont know if everyone does it but we r..i really want those candidmoments that only my drunk friends can take

Hang in there. I had a meltdown yesterday - I think there are just going to be some of those days and you need to take a deep breath and do one thing at a time, remembering the whole point is to marry the person you want to spend your life with.

As for the cameras, I haven't seen them at most of the weddings we've gone to recently. However, I have seen brides leaving little cards on the tables that says something about how if they are taking pics, to share them on something like shutterfly etc. and including their link...I am thinking of doing that.

Try to stay calm! Freaking out and breaking down is the worst thing you could do right now!

If it makes you feel any better, 6 days before my wedding, I still had 8 (out of 12) ushers that didn't go for tuxes, 3 BM's that didn't go for fittings yet, I lost my job, there was a big fire in my house and my 2 brothers were in the hospital and my mom was sick in bed with the worst kidney infection possible! Thank god my family all turned out okay, but my RD was at my house 6 days after the 3rd floor burned down! I freaked out and DH and I were about to just call it quits and go to Vegas But seriously, it was worth the stress in the end. I could have done without my family sick, but like I said, thank god they were okay.

The most important thing you can do right now is try not to loose it! Everything will work out for you, trust me!

Everything will be done in time. I was freaking out about 3 months before as well because I felt the same way. I sat down, took a deep breath and my mother and I made a list of things that needed to be done by a certian date. More or less like a check list. It was actually really helpful and it made the over-welming feelings go away. For example (my wedding was 9/14)

Meet with baker for final meeting: 3:00-9/12
Pick up dresses: 10:00-9/13
blah blah blah.... all in date and time order.

I had a 3 month check list with my appointments and something to do almost everyday! This actually really helped me relax and get all the little things I needed to do, done, such as wrap favors, stamp invites, bathroom baskets all that jazz. It really helped to organize and plan it out. Plus writing it down, I didn't forgot a thing!

As far as the cameras go, I would def do them! I wish I had done them now. DH and I paid 6K for our photographer and we aren't satisified to say the least. I don't even have a picture of my CP's , so I would do it if I were you. More importantly, try to relax and remember, we are always here for any vents you may have!

Don't stress. I get the same way. I'm definitely considering the cameras. I want to post the scavenger hunt for each table so we get some different shots. Got this somewhere on this site.

I'm definitely doing the table cameras. My sister got some great shots out of hers.

But speaking of the things you never even thought of - you don't HAVE to do those probably. They're just little details you can do if you have time (your own table numbers, programs, things like that). Don't go crazy. You're supposed to ENJOY wedding planning.

I'm doing it! I say the more pics, especially the candids or drunken ones, the better!!!

Try to stay calm-We all have those moments where it feels like wedding planning has taken over and it is going to be impossible to finish everything before the big day BUT some how it will all fall into place. As for the table cameras if you want them you should get them...I decided against it b/c many of my friends have paid a lot of $$ to develop pictures of peoples shoes and the toilets in the reception hall- It is your day with FH try to enjoy the planning

I did the cameras but they are costly to develop and not the best pic but overall i am glad i did it.

I have 20 cameras that expire 6/2009 that I can no longer use because I pushed my wedding back to after that date. Let me know if you're interested in them.

you need to relax and enjoy the planning everything will work out ask your bridesmaids to help - delegate a few things for them to do to take the load off of you! As for the cameras....YUP im doing them too - i know those pictures are going to be amazing ...maybe alittle of the wall too cant wait! good luck!

the last few weddings i went to, they didn't have cameras on the table..I was going to do it, but don't need the added expense. I know alot of people will be taking their own pics.. and i also told my photographer to get alot of candids.

we are in the same timeline and i have so much to do too.. if you ever want to fm me we can go over what's left to do and help each other, im stressed and freaking too!!!

No one is doing that anymore. I think with everyone using Facebook and digital cameras your pictures get around very fast and easy.
