Just need to Vent!! Sorry

So as some of you may know, I loss my cousin back in May 31 of this year. He left behind a wife and 3yr baby girl. I just heard word that she is already sleeping over her ex-boyfriends house and the baby is calling him daddy.
REALLY!!!!
This hurts me so much. I would understand if this happened 1yr from now but it's only been 1 1/2 months. My uncle got so upset on confronted her and now she won't bring the baby over.

Do grandparents have no right over their grand daughter if the son doesn't exist? Can they do something legal regarding this so they can continue to see the baby?

I'm so heartbroken..she even unfriended me from facebook, which was the only way to keep track of the baby.

I'm sorry about your cousin. All i can hope is that she comes around and starts bringing the child back to your family.

That's what I said but somebody told me that grandparents had no rights. I found that odd.

i Know this is really hard- but everyone reacts to pain differently.

She just lost her whole life and it sounds like she's using her poor ex to pacify the situation.


She's using him just like booze or drugs or anything else as a numbing agent.

I'm sure she's destroyed inside and is trying to cope in her own way.


Sigh.

thats a good idea...as much as it sucks he has no choice if he wants to see the baby...its a real shame though but its better to see her than not to...still think she needs a wake up call tho cause this isnt a way to handle any type of situation...i think its so terrible that she is doing this so soon
