So as some of you may know, I loss my cousin back in May 31 of this year. He left behind a wife and 3yr baby girl. I just heard word that she is already sleeping over her ex-boyfriends house and the baby is calling him daddy. REALLY!!!! This hurts me so much. I would understand if this happened 1yr from now but it's only been 1 1/2 months. My uncle got so upset on confronted her and now she won't bring the baby over.
Do grandparents have no right over their grand daughter if the son doesn't exist? Can they do something legal regarding this so they can continue to see the baby?
I'm so heartbroken..she even unfriended me from facebook, which was the only way to keep track of the baby.

This is terrible! I hope she realizes that she's hurting your family - and the baby - by not bringing her around. Hopefully she comes to her senses soon.

really i have never heard of this. I just googled this and found that florida does allow grandparents to if they get zero visitation rights but if they do see the kid even if its infrequently then they cant file a suit. The grandparents can go to court and try to get visitation rights. This is so heartbreaking.

Apparently in Florida, Grandparental visitation is unconstitutional.
