Some days I am okay with it and try to not make a big deal over it but today, I hate them. Why don't my pics have any fall backdrops? Why are there only a few of DH and I actually next to each other??? Uggh....I just can't bring myself to do the day after I don't think....I don't even want to go through all of them again, I felt like it was such a disappointment....

There are days when I'm really unhappy with my pics too.
I just remind myself that it doesn't matter whether or not we have beautiful pics because we have a beautiful marriage; and that's much more valuable!!!

VERY true! ....but I did do a day after shoot with another photographer. I wasn't happy with my proofs. There's still SO MANY I'll never get back like the ones with families & bridal party, but at least I have the ones of Dean and I that I love!

To tell you the truth, I have not been that vocal about my proofs, but I'm not too happy with mine either - there were a lot of moments I feel she missed, and from her work, she specializes in those special moments, but its too late now....

REALLY??? Liza, I'm so surprised because I've been so jealous of your proofs! I thought they were amazing. Of course, I'm just looking at them for what they are, not knowing about the missing moments.
I don't even have my proofs yet, but I KNOW major things were missed and I'm bummed like crazy.
It seems a lot of people are coming out to say similar things.
It's like an epidemic!!

I'm sorry you all are so unhappy with your proofs. I can't imagine.
I like my proofs, however I too feel that they missed some things such as both families together, no table shots, or groups of my friends.

I think we all go through proof depression. Esp when we see so many posted on here. What you need to remember is that what we see here are are the BEST of what everyone got back. I love my proofs, but they are not perfect. Take a break, and go through them again later.

This is the absolute truth! I had to stop looking at others pics because I would think they are better than mine. I am grateful, though, because I got every moment I wanted, the colors and poses with bridal parties were perfectly aligned, etc. But, there are some days I have a mental breakdown because a lot of my portraits that I took before the ceremony with DH are not posed in a flattering way for my face and hair style. Then, I get upset because I wish I had a different hair style. Then, I get distrubed because my upper waist was not altered properly, so in every pic I have a major crease. Then, there are other days, I put those thoughts in the back of my head and absolutely can not stop admiring my pics and thinking about how wonderful my day was.
The funny thing is I thought I was the only one to feel this way until my good friend told me she has mental breakdowns over her pics, hairstyle and alterations too!
So, this is obviously very common among brides- photos - hair style - alterations -
