How many halls did you look at before deciding on the one you booked? Just curious! :)

She went to about 15-20 with my sister who is getting married at NRC Aug 29 2004. Then I went to Watermill, NRC, and Flowerfield and made my decision after seeing 2 more. But once I stepped inside the Atrium at Flowerfield I knew immediately. I only went to the others just so she could make a definite decision.

FH and i only saw 6 halls - the second we walked into the NRC - we knew it was the one!

FH looked at 4 halls.. and picked one of them.. I was so tired of looking at halls after the first.. it was very exhausting!

I havent seen them in person so i am holding out on my ultimate decision - my first reaction was i hated them - but i guess they are kinda growing on me - On one hand i'm upset because i liked the openness of the area and i was planning on taking pics by the piano and thorugh the window as you come in - but on the other hand - there is a sense of completeness now with the changes - At this point we cant really make them change it - *lol* - so i guess i just have to learn to love them!
I wonder if they have any more changes in the works...

we had only gone to see 2 prior to the the one we ended up booking...but my friend had gotten engaged a few months before and I had gone to see a few with her...and took many a virtual tour online...so I was pretty aware of all our options!

We looked at a total of 3 halls although i have been to many others. I always knew I wanted it at Land's End but didn't think i would be able to have it there. FH and I saw Land's End and fell in love.
It is like buying your dress..... once you found it there is no way out!!!!
It helped that all we heard and my parents heard were amazing things!

I was a little dissapointed when I went in b/c they still have the old way up on the site....but they explained that it is better because they now they have room for someone to be sitting down there which is good for directing the guests....which i guess is good. It's still an awesome place, and we still have that beautiful staircase and fireplace in the BS to take lots of pics!

No joke we looked at 15-20 halls. Villa Lombardi's was the first hall we looked at. After looking at all of those halls, and getting rid of any doubts we had. We booked them.

Probably 20! I thought we would never find a place that was right for us! And I was so resistant to even go to our hall because of something so silly. It was one of the very last ones we went to, and I loved it!
