Just played our wedding song

I play this song all the time. Dale and I just danced to it for the first time. We were crying like two babies. I figured I would share it with you ladies. Did this happen to any of you?

Ours at first was 'heaven' by Bryan Adams because it was a nice love song but I wasn't crazy about it. But then we went to see the play 'contact' on broadway and this song was in it. Every time we hear 'Beyond the Sea' we think back to what a great day we had.

That is SO sweet.

I was thinking about Heaven but not the one by Brian Adams... there is some girl that sings it and its SO pretty

Im afraid FH is gonna want something different like uhhhh... The Who or something like that. Not something romantic.

Our song always had special meaning to me, and every time I heard it I would smile, especially since he used it the night of our engagement and we danced in the streets of Manhattan

THAT IS SO SWEET!!

Ours is of course-ENDLESS LOVE and we figured this out when we were together for only about 6 months or so-maybe less-one night I had downloaded it on NAPSTER (back in the day when you still could!!) and we played it and started dancing and before I knew he was bawling in my arms and I was doing the same in his! Now everytime I play it he shuts it off because he thinks I am playin it out!! He wants the first dance to be special! He does dedicate it to me @ weddings though when he gets the chance!!

When we booked our band, the lead singer sang 'You're the Reason' by Marc Anthony. He did a great job with it, so we bought the CD and danced to it. We also were crying a little bit, so I'm thinking that's the song for us!

Our song is 'Thank You for Loving Me' by Bon Jovi. Fh sang it to me one night when he was on leave (he had to go back the next day). He lit candles and it was so romantic. The song is perfect for us, but we have never danced to it. I think we will wait until the wedding day.

we dont have our song yet, but a few weeks ago we were just playing random songs on the stereo and i kept bothering him saying 'dance with me' no one is here, just you and me, dance with me. he laughed.

he's such a guy and hates dancing

Ours is 'When I Fall In Love' by Celion Dion and Clive Griffin. It is the theme song to 'Sleepless in Seattle'. The movie is us, so that is why we picked that song.

We changed our song to 'I'll always be right there' by Bryan Adams.
It's got more meaning than our original song

We don't have a song yet. I keep telling my FH that since on our first date we heard Bohemian Rapsody 4 times that it should be our song.

Theresa what a great song!!! I love Saturday night Fever!!! My cousin had that song at his wedding. Good choice.

T: I love Saturday Night Fever too. I am actually going to have alot of songs from the soundtrack played at my wedding. That is one of my parents favorite movie.
